What is Human Sustainability?

Human sustainability is a goal that requires actions that will increase the likelihood of mankind’s survival into the future. Our social interactions and our interactions with the environment are the two most significant factors.

ESH’s programs focus upon the development of human success skills. Once in place, these skills underwrite academic achievement and are the main elements of social success. Communication skills are key. Fundamental to survival are conflict resolution skills. The development of human potential demands each child learns how to initiate a conversation, say “no”, ask for what they want or need, make friends, tell a joke, reveal a weakness, speak easily to the opposite sex, and freely express the full gamut of his or her emotions. Also included in our offerings are financial literacy, creativity, and self-understanding. Team projects, family and online games, and partner challenges are among the tools we provide.

Father’s involvement is a major force to assure success for the child in academics, work, and in the social arena.  Excellent communication between mothers and fathers is foundational to their children’s success and EHS has determined that Couples Communication coaching is more effective than classes. Family learning projects such as an exploration of what foods best serve the individual biochemistries of the family members is an example. Lab tests to identify problematic environmental toxins, that can affect children’s learning abilities, will also be addressed.

Our e-Learning and Online Courses are unique. We focus our educational make both academic and social goals easier to achieve. We do this by supplying a key element that is missing from most online programs—live coaching.  Our coaches guide, encourage, challenge, and support students to effectively focus their attention, bring out their natural genius, see through social illusions, and use teamwork to teach effective cooperation.

Are you worried about your son's future? Have you noticed him doing any of the following: playing excessive video games, does he isolate himself in his room, not having friends over nor being socially active, have you noticed him viewing porn sites, has he been bullied, has he stopped showing signs of physical affection for the family members, has he been skipping school or are his grades dropping, is he uncomfortable interacting with girls. These and other signs show that your son needs attention and he has new skills to learn. The above disturbing events are actually signals that he is ready to make progress toward becoming more of a man and less of a boy.  The path to manhood is road-marked with challenges for your son.  Let's support him in developing the character and responsibility that are integral to being a fully functioning healthy man.

Learning which foods best support your child's digestion and health can be a huge challenge.  Unfortunately, the best foods for a child are not necessarily the favorite foods of his parents. Each person has a biochemical individuality.  We have developed a program that involves your child in exploring the effects of various foods on his or her performance of favorite activities. For instance, how well does he draw, or how well can he perform his favorite athletic activity, or how well can he do a page of math problems, or how good is his accuracy at his favorite video game  - after eating a milk and cereal breakfast vs. a bacon and egg breakfast vs. fruit and yoghurt. This approach is used for snacks, lunches, beverages, protein dishes, and desserts.
